We are seeking a committed and resilient SEN Secondary Teacher to join our team on a full:time, long:term basis.

This role is ideal for a teacher with strong behaviour management skills, experience in SEMH, PRU or alternative provision, and a passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

The Role
  • Teach KS3:

    KS4 pupils with SEMH needs
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned to EHCPs
  • Implement consistent and effective behaviour strategies
  • Create a calm, safe and structured learning environment
  • Work closely with pastoral, therapeutic and leadership teams
  • Support pupils academic progress, emotional regulation and engagement
  • Contribute positively to whole:school culture and routines
  • Monday‑Friday role (8:15am‑4:30pm) on a long:term contract until the end of the academic year, with potential for extension.
Person Specification
  • QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a UK secondary school
  • Experience in an SEMH school, PRU or alternative provision
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • The ability to commit full:time for the duration of the contract
