We are seeking a committed and resilient SEN Secondary Teacher to join our team on a full:time, long:term basis.
This role is ideal for a teacher with strong behaviour management skills, experience in SEMH, PRU or alternative provision, and a passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

- Teach KS3:
KS4 pupils with SEMH needs - Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned to EHCPs
- Implement consistent and effective behaviour strategies
- Create a calm, safe and structured learning environment
- Work closely with pastoral, therapeutic and leadership teams
- Support pupils academic progress, emotional regulation and engagement
- Contribute positively to whole:school culture and routines
- Monday‑Friday role (8:15am‑4:30pm) on a long:term contract until the end of the academic year, with potential for extension.
- QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 6 months experience in a UK secondary school
- Experience in an SEMH school, PRU or alternative provision
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- The ability to commit full:time for the duration of the contract
- Make a genuine difference in a specialist SEMH setting
- Support pupils who benefit from high structure and positive relationships
- Work within a supportive and experienced staff team
- Access professional development in SEMH and behaviour practice
- Secure long:term role through to the end of the academic year
