Permanent position, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (term time only). Hours to be agreed at interview.

Grade: F, salary £31,022 – £34,434 pro rata (actual salary £21,032 – £23,345).

The Governors of St Columba’s Catholic Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Pastoral Care Officer to join our school.

• Practicing Catholic/Christian or a commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Recent experience working with children in a primary school.
• A passion for working with young children – kind, caring and flexible.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of children with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Outstanding practitioner with high expectations of what can be achieved.
• Ability to work as part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
• Ability to form successful relationships with parents.
