Teaching Assistant L2 + SEN (31.25 hours per week, Term Time Only) Year 3, 1:1 support

Grade D / SCP 6-11 + TASEN Allowance PRO-RATA (FTE £25,989 - £28,142 to be Pro-Rata). Actual Salary: £18,353 to £19,874 9th January 2026 (Fixed Term 18 months contract to 31st August 2027 Start Date ASAP)

Eagley Junior School is a happy and welcoming two-form entry Junior School in Bromley Cross, Bolton. We have an opportunity for a caring and supportive individual to join our team of Teaching Assistants as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

You will work with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing specialist support to the teacher in an aspect of the curriculum or age range, for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a love of learning in their pupils, demonstrating creativity and enthusiasm in their approach.

• Holds a level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
• Has knowledge of supporting and leading learning activities for children with SEN
• Has successful relevant experience of working with children
• Is able to devise and implement structured learning activities, under the direction of the teacher, and be able to evaluate their effectiveness and measure pupils’ progress, giving feedback as required
