English Teacher

We at Spencer Clarke Group are delighted to be supporting a secondary school in Bolton who are seeking an English Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis, teaching Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys delivering engaging English lessons and supporting pupils to achieve strong outcomes in reading, writing and communication.

The Role

Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Supporting pupils of varying abilities to make strong progress
Contributing positively to the wider English department and school community
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a degree in English
Has QTS
Confident teaching English at KS3 and KS4
Passionate about literacy, language and student progress
Strong classroom management and positive, professional approach
