Overview
Required from September 2026, an enthusiastic, well-qualified Psychology Teacher is required to join this popular, well-equipped department which teaches across the sixth form in both senior schools. The successful applicant will be a strong classroom practitioner who can infuse others with a love of Psychology. Our pupils are able, inquisitive and eager to learn, so creativity and a passion for Psychology are essential.
The person appointed will teach A Level Psychology to classes in Year 12 and Year 13 across both senior schools.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, well-qualified and committed teacher of Psychology, able to meet the rewarding challenge of inspiring our able and highly motivated pupils both inside and outside the classroom. They will carry out engaging and structured lesson plans, assess attainment, support pupils’ personal development and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
QualificationsThey will be a graduate with at least a good honours degree who has flair and vision, together with the necessary academic, educational and organisational experience to succeed in a post of this standing. They will be committed to the welfare and individual development of all the pupils in their care and prepared to play a meaningful role in the wider life of the school.
