Are you an enthusiastic Early Years practitioner looking for a long-term opportunity in a supportive and welcoming school?

A primary school in Horwich is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their team from 13th April on a maternity cover contract running until at least December 2026.

This role offers genuine stability and the opportunity to become an integral part of a well-established Early Years team.

What You'll Be Doing

You will take full responsibility for the planning, delivery and assessment within the EYFS setting, ensuring children receive a rich, engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Your role will include:

Delivering high-quality provision in line with the EYFS framework

Creating a nurturing, stimulating classroom environment

Monitoring and tracking pupil progress

Supporting early communication, language and personal development

Working collaboratively with support staff and colleagues

Contributing to the wider school community and staff meetings

What the School Is Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience with in Early Years (Reception experience desirable)

A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum

A creative and engaging teaching style

Commitment to consistency, high standards and teamwork
