Initially until Friday 17th July 2026 (sickness cover) We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in the Bolton area.
This is a full-time temporary position for the remainder of the academic year.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and effective PE lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to students of varying abilities.
Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support to help all students reach their full potential.
Contribute to curriculum planning and the ongoing development of the PE department.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Recent experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
Recognised teaching qualification with QTS.
Proven experience teaching KS3 and GCSE PE.
Current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Availability to start after the half-term break.
