Early Years Teacher - Bolton
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term Temporary
Salary: 160- 220 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
About the SchoolWe are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-supported primary school in the Bolton area that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Teacher on a long-term temporary basis from September 2026.
The school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and commitment to providing a high-quality Early Years education. Staff work collaboratively to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children feel supported to develop confidence, curiosity, and independence.
The RoleAs an Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.
This long-term temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive school environment, with the possibility of extension based on performance and school requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil development, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic progress
- Promote positive behaviour through a consistent and nurturing approach
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience working within an Early Years setting
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Be enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing in their approach
- Have effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be adaptable and committed to supporting the needs of all learners
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two professional references relating to working with children
