Role: SPECIAL NEEDS ASSISTANT

Required from: 1st September 2026

Salary: TA2 + SNA allowance 26.25 hours per week term time + 5 days

Contract Type: Permanent

The Governors at Claypool wish to invite candidates to apply for the post of Full Time Special Needs Assistant.

We are looking for someone who:
  • Enjoys working with children
  • Has experience of supporting children with significant additional needs
  • Is able to support the learning of children either individually or in small groups
  • Has experience of KS1 and/or KS2
  • Has good communication skills
  • Is caring, patient and flexible
  • Is energetic and enthusiastic
  • Is keen to join our hardworking, committed and friendly team
