Administrative Assistant

The job itself

St Martin's CE VA Primary School is a small rural primary school with enthusiastic and caring pupils and staff. We are seeking to appoint a friendly and organised admin assistant to work from 9:00-12:00 Mon and Wednesday plus Fridays 8:30-3:30 to provide support in the school office, working alongside the Head and SBM in providing an efficient and effective administration and finance service.

Knowledge and experience of Arbor, Tuscasi, and other software is desirable; however training will be available. Good communication, ICT and organisational skills are required, as is a good sense of humour.

All staff must have an enhanced DBS check as St Martin's CE VA Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Candidates may have the opportunity for additional hours, potentially an additional day in another school, working across our Collaboration with Bugthorpe and Sutton upon Derwent C of E Federation.
