Working within a primary school requires the ability to multitask effectively, build positive relationships and respond calmly and professionally to a wide range of situations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate records and monitoring the impact of interventions.
The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience of working with children and families in an educational or support setting.
  • Understand current DfE attendance guidance and be able to use research and evidence‑based practice to drive improvement.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Be confident in supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviours.
  • Be highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Work effectively as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
