KS1​/KS2 Tutor

Overview

Prospero Teaching is looking for a tutor experienced in supporting KS1/KS2 students with a flexible, creative and nurturing approach. The role involves making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable, disengaged and at‑risk early‑year learners, delivering personalized, enjoyable lessons and helping students re‑engage with education and establish structure in their daily routine.

Provide one‑to‑one tuition in numeracy and literacy for KS1/KS2 pupils, designing and delivering learning plans that meet individual needs.

• QTS or equivalent, or significant tutoring experience
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential
• Creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box
• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional child‑related references
