Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and nurturing primary school in the Bolton area, who are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a meaningful impact across the KS2 curriculum.
About the RoleYou will take responsibility for the Year 4 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development. The ideal teacher will be confident in delivering the KS2 curriculum, able to foster a positive classroom environment, and passionate about helping pupils thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
- Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed
- Provide targeted support to pupils of varying abilities
- Work closely with colleagues, including SEN staff and subject leads
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 4 preferred but not essential)
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to differentiate learning to support all pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
