We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive 1-form entry primary school in Horwich
.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to inspire and support pupils in Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will become part of a close-knit staff team, delivering engaging lessons that help children thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The role will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of securing a permanent contract with the school from September 2027

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) –
essential - Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
- Deliver engaging, creative and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Be passionate about helping every child reach their full potential
- Use effective assessment to support pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
- Create a positive, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- A welcoming and supportive 1-form entry school environment
- A close-knit and collaborative staff team
- Friendly, enthusiastic pupils who enjoy learning
- Strong leadership and ongoing professional development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
