Teaching Personnel is seeking an inspiring SEN Secondary Teacher to join a highly regarded specialist secondary setting in Bolton. This well‑established school supports students aged 11-19 with complex learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), communication difficulties, and additional educational needs. The school is known for its nurturing approach, outstanding staff support, and commitment to helping every learner achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
YourResponsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider support staff.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and external professionals.
- Promote independence, confidence, and lifelong learning skills.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching secondary-aged students.
- A strong understanding of SEND and inclusive teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach.
- A commitment to helping every student succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
