We're currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School in Manchester on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils across the secondary setting
  • Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence
  • Supporting teachers with classroom activities, resources and interventions
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping create a calm, inclusive learning environment
Requirements or

Skills:
  • Previous experience within a school, college or wider education environment is desirable
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in education, childcare, youth work or a related area — or relevant practical experience
  • Able to build positive relationships with young people and work collaboratively with teaching staff

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
