Qualifications

Degree in a relevant subject essential

Qualified Teacher Status essential

Experience

Excellent planning, adaptation and monitoring of progress, including ILP’s & EHCP’s. essential
Positively, compassionately and safely managing behaviours that challenge, essential
Strong classroom management and relational practices essential
High levels of competence in using MIS (eg Arbor, Edukey, IDL, MyConcern) essential
Working collaboratively with support staff and families essential
Understanding of SEMH, trauma, attachment and neurodiversity essential
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection essential
Understanding of behaviour regulation and restorative approaches essential
Understanding of SEND and EHCP processes essential
