A well-established and growing engineering business operating within the utilities sector is looking to strengthen its field team with the addition of an experienced Mechancial Fitter.

This is a key hire with a clear succession plan in place, offering the opportunity to step into a senior, hands‑on position and play a pivotal role in delivering critical work across UK infrastructure projects.

• Lead a 2‑person team as the senior engineer, working on different sites
• Carry out installation, maintenance and repair work on wastewater treatment facilities
• Take ownership of jobs from start to completion, ensuring high standards and efficiency
• Work closely with an experienced engineer
• Operate across multiple sites, with a strong focus on the utilities / wastewater sector
• Occasional working away (typically 3–4 days per week at times, with some longer stints during peak periods)

• 7+ years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar
• Confident fault‑finding and problem‑solving ability in the field
• Experience with:
• Lifting & cranage operations
• Working at height
• Confined spaces
• Comfortable working in wastewater / utilities environments (majority of work)
