Bolton (Hybrid working available) One Construction Group is proud to be working alongside a respected and well-established civil engineering contractor delivering projects across highways, general civils, structures, water, and energy sectors . Known for quality, collaboration, and long-term partnerships, they continue to play a leading role in shaping critical UK infrastructure. We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing civil engineering division.

This is a pivotal role within the business supporting the Directors by taking ownership of the estimating function and providing confident leadership across major bids and tenders

Key responsibilities:

Lead the preparation of accurate, competitive tenders across civil engineering projects. Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to produce detailed cost estimates. Collaborate closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure consistent project delivery. Take ownership of estimating processes, driving improvements and efficiencies across the department.

About you:

Proven experience in civil engineering estimating, ideally within rail or highways, but general civils experience will also be considered. Strong technical understanding of construction methods and cost planning. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
