Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager to join a dynamic and forward‑thinking manufacturing team to deliver complex manufacturing projects.

Role Details

Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience

Location: Bolton

Working: Hybrid – 3 days per week on site

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. After offer all successful candidates will undergo HMG BPSS checks.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage business‑critical manufacturing programmes in a fast‑paced and complex environment.

  • Lead industrialisation projects including design uplifts, obsolescence removals and production line rate increases.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Design and Programme teams across MBDA UK and Europe.
  • Expand professional networks and influence decisions at senior levels.
Requirements
  • Accomplished Programme Manager with proven track record in delivering complex prototype and/or development projects.
  • Extensive stakeholder management, interfacing with customers and suppliers, briefing senior management.
  • Experience leading multi‑functional teams in a matrix or cross‑functional organisation.
  • Management of project scope, identifying deviations and negotiating changes.
  • Strong risk identification and mitigation skills across cost, schedule and quality.
  • Proactive prioritisation of strategic business needs and day‑to‑day tactical decisions.
  • Experience constructing and maintaining project plans with Primavera or Microsoft Project.
  • High degree of self‑motivation, able to work independently and as part of a team.
