Guidant Global is partnering with a leading UK defence organisation to recruit a hands-on Electronics Test Engineer to support the manufacturing test and fault diagnosis of complex electrical and electronic assemblies
.

This is a practical, production-based role focused on diagnosing faults down to circuit card and component level
, working directly with test equipment in a manufacturing environment not a desk-based design role.

What youll be doing

• Supporting manufacturing test and diagnostics of electrical and electronic sub-systems
• Investigating failures down to circuit card and component level
• Using a wide range of manual and automated test equipment
• Introducing and supporting new test facilities, specifications and operator instructions
• Working closely with production and quality teams to maintain build schedules
