The successful candidate will have the opportunity to bring their existing experience, knowledge and ideas into the business, while also having the freedom to put their own stamp on the role and contribute to the continued development of the estimating function.
You will play a key role in reviewing and triaging incoming enquiries, interpreting technical drawings and specifications, assessing project requirements and preparing accurate, commercially competitive estimates.
We are particularly interested in someone who is confident working with technical drawings and CAD, with the ability to navigate drawings in both 2D and 3D and use this information to understand project scope, quantities, materials and commercial requirements.
The role will suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail of a project, asking the right questions, identifying potential issues early and using their experience to make informed commercial decisions.
You will work closely with Sales, Design, Operations, Logistics, suppliers and customers, making this a varied role with genuine influence across the business.
This is a fabulous opportunity to join a well-established and successful company that can offer long-term career development, progression and the opportunity to grow with the organisation.

Support effective project handovers to operational teams, ensuring all commercial and estimating information is complete and accurate.
Contribute ideas and improvements to estimating processes, systems and ways of working.
