We are working with a growing, partner-led accountancy practice in the North West that is looking to appoint a Mixed Tax Senior to join its expanding tax team.

This firm is privately owned with no private equity backing, allowing it to focus on quality, people and long-term client relationships rather than short-term targets. Continued growth has created genuine opportunities for internal progression and career development.

The client base is high quality and varied, consisting of owner-managed businesses, groups and entrepreneurs. The tax work includes a strong mix of compliance and advisory, providing exposure beyond routine filing. Team members are actively encouraged to get involved in tax planning, restructuring and value-adding advisory work.

• Managing a mixed portfolio of clients.
• Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships and limited companies.
• Advising clients on tax planning and business decisions.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm.
• Supporting the development of more junior team members.

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified, or ATT or QBE.
• Experience in a tax role within accountancy practice.
• Strong understanding of UK tax compliance.
• Good communication skills and a commercial mindset.
