Description

Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Support budget preparation and forecasting activities for the department.
Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and processes.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the retail sector.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports to senior management.

Profile

A successful Interim Senior Management Accountant should have:

Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
Extensive knowledge of management accounting principles and practices.
Proven experience in accounting and finance within the retail industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data effectively.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and present financial findings.
