Salary - 45-50k - First time mover or industry mover considered

We are working with a PE backed, growing businesses looking for a proactive and detail driven Group Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a pivotal role within the business, offering broad exposure across financial reporting, controls, and commercial analysis.

You will take ownership of key financial processes, support strategic decision making, and play a vital role in driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

• Take full ownership of month‑end processes, including reconciliations and reporting
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure deadlines are consistently met
• Supervise x2 Assistant Accountants
• Support audit processes by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors
• Maintain well‑organised audit files and financial records
• Prepare and submit VAT and IOSS returns accurately and on time
• Ensure full compliance with relevant tax regulations
• Regularly assess internal financial controls and recommend improvements
• Review business expenditure and identify cost‑saving opportunities
• Collaborate with departments to implement efficiency improvements
• Support the development of reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Contribute to pricing reviews, commercial analysis, and decision‑making

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) or finalist
• Strong experience in management accounts and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
