Blackrod, Bolton Salary: up to circa: £35,000 Our client, a well established business based in Bolton, is looking to recruit a hands on Finance Supervisor to join their finance team. Supporting the Financial Controller, you'll oversee the day to day running of the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger function, leading a small transactional finance team while remaining actively involved in the day to day operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the day to day running of the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger team, ensuring workloads are managed and deadlines are met Provide guidance, training and support to the team, resolving queries and maintaining strong financial controls Oversee customer invoicing, credit control activities, purchase invoice processing and supplier reconciliations Manage transactional finance tasks including payment runs, month-end journals, bank reconciliations and reporting Support month-end processes, payroll, stock reconciliations and maintenance of pricing data Produce regular management reports and KPI information Maintain and support the ERP system while identifying opportunities to improve finance processes Build effective relationships with suppliers and internal departments to ensure the smooth running of the finance function Skills & Attributes:
Previous experience within a finance environment, with strong Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger knowledge Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems (ERP/Sage 200 experience advantageous) AAT Level 3 (or studying towards) and previous team supervision or mentoring experience would be beneficial Please send a copy of your CV for consideration.
