Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity to join a growing and supportive finance team as an Accounts Assistant. This is a varied role ideal for someone with previous finance or accounts experience who is looking to develop their skills within a busy and professional environment.

• Assisting with day-to-day finance and accounts activities.
• Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Assisting with purchase and sales ledger activities.
• Processing payments and updating financial records.
• Completing bank reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies.
• Supporting with month-end processes and general finance administration.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring information is entered in a timely manner.
• Assisting with the preparation and organisation of financial information.
• Using accounting systems and Excel to process, analyse and maintain financial data.
• Providing general support to the wider finance and accounts team.

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar finance role.
• A good understanding of general accounting and finance processes.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive and professional approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
