Overview
Bolton Community Eating Disorder Service is looking for a Band 6 Specialist Dietitian to join the team. The Dietitian role is a key part of the multidisciplinary team. - Provide a highly specialist dietetic service to adults receiving treatment from the Trust's Community Eating Disorder Services in Bolton, and contribute to assessment and treatment pathways in community Adult Eating Disorder Services (EDS).
- Support service users with severe or complex eating disorders (including Anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, OSFED, ARFID, binge eating disorder).
- Support the development and delivery of new and expanding pathways, including ARFID services within the team.
- Provide dietetic expertise on dietary management of eating disorders to medical staff, other health professionals, patients, families and external agencies.
- Support the development of dietetics within the Eating Disorders Service and across the wider organisation.

Person specificationQualifications and experience are provided in the documents section. Essential criteria include:
- Degree or equivalent in Nutrition and Dietetics (or degree with PG qualification in Dietetics); HCPC registered Dietitian;
Member of the British Dietetic Association; CPD & Professional Portfolio
Desirable criteria include specialized courses, master’s level study, supervisory skills and management training.
Knowledge, skills and experience- Effective communication and decision-making skills; ability to manage time and caseload
- Knowledge of clinical governance in dietetic practice; good report writing; ability to use technology and computer programs
- Desirable: presentation skills; audit and research experience
- Essential: post-qualification experience in various clinical settings; ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and independently
- Desirable: collaborative work, health promotion, development of service user information, leaflets and training resources, liaison across health services
