An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Occupational Therapist within The Independent Living Service in Bolton. This is a full-time locum position offering a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a talented team of 32 staff members including Occupational Therapists, Disability Officers, and Community Assessment Officers. Dive into this rewarding 3-month role, enhancing lives by promoting wellbeing and independence. We’re seeking a proactive and resourceful OT with a minimum of three years post qualification experience to join us in delivering innovative health and social care solutions under the Care Act 2014.

What you will do
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and reviews of need under the Care Act 2014.
  • Provide expert advice, techniques, equipment, and adaptations to support service users.
  • Facilitate access to universal and voluntary services that enhance user independence.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across various teams including the Sensory and Telecare Teams.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team working to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with service users and carers.
