HR Officer

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced HR Officer to work with our client on an initial five-month temporary contract. The role is based in Bolton, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a hybrid basis with three days of onsite working.

Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of HR casework matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, capability, absence, probation and conduct matters. You will support managers throughout the full case management process, providing HR advice and procedural guidance

Main Duties:

* Manage a range of HR casework including grievances, disciplinaries, capability, absence, probation and conduct matters

* Support managers throughout the full case management process

* Prepare documentation, correspondence and reports relating to HR casework

* Attend formal meetings and hearings

* Provide procedural guidance and HR advice to managers

Essential Criteria :

* CIPD Level 5 qualification

* Previous experience working in an HR Officer or similar HR advisory role, preferably within a public sector organisation

* Experienced in managing a range of HR casework including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence matters

* Strong knowledge of HR procedures and employment practices
