Salary: £27,000.00 - £30,000.00

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Analyst to join our QA team at Premex Group. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality testing across programmes, multiple projects, and smaller change initiatives. Working within a cross-functional team, you will support all phases of the testing lifecycle – from defining the approach through to execution and reporting.

• Engage fully in training and development opportunities to build your testing expertise
• Perform a range of software testing activities and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on complex and high-profile initiatives
• Define, prepare, execute, and report on testing activities in alignment with the overall Test Strategy
• Ensure all testing outputs are high quality and meet business requirements
• Apply risk-based testing techniques and clearly communicate approach and rationale
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support testing delivery
• Contribute to test scoping, impact assessments, and effort estimation
• Identify and communicate risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
• Support business stakeholders in planning and executing UAT
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices
• Assist in resolving production issues to minimise business disruption
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and standards

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Awareness of software testing and its importance to business success
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly
• Ability to manage time effectively across multiple activities
• A proactive, organised, and flexible approach to work

• ISTQB certification
• Degree (2:1 or above) in a Software Engineering or related discipline
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience or exposure to tools such as Selenium Web Driver
• Knowledge of UI/API automation, performance, and load testing
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration
