Role: IT Manager

Job Summary:

To be the lead for all IT and communications for the company ensuring all on-site and remote systems are
maintained and ensuring appropriate security measures in place.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Manage relationship with external IT service providers for e-mail/network/backups/printers.
 
* Manage relationship with ERP supplier and other external IT suppliers.
 
* Gain compliance for cyber essentials.
 
* Manage and create cost efficient contracts for IT companies and Telephony.
 
* Advise on IT infrastructure.
 
* Maintain, implement and improve business automations
 
* Manage day to day ERP solution (currently Glovia to move to Epicor).
 
* Assist in the implementation of a new ERP system.
 
* Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
 
* Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
 
* Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
 
* Preserve assets, information security and control structure.
 
* Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
 
* Mentor and Guide IT Apprentice
Required Education, Training,

Skills & Experience:

* Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
 
* Manufacturing experience preferred but not essential.
 
* Experience of Epicor Kinetic would be advantageous.
 
* Project management experience also advantageous along with cost management.
 
* A proven track record of quickly adding value in a fast-paced environment.
 
* Technically strong with a commercial mind-set.
 
* An investigative mind, both on tasks at hand but also to question if there is a better way.
 
* Ability to progress many activities concurrently.
 
* Proven ability to work under pressure.
 
* Experience of developing processes and procedures.
