Water Efficiency Auditor

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing environmental and utilities contractor for a proactive and customer-focused Water Efficiency Auditor to join their expanding team.

This is a field-based role focused on helping customers improve water efficiency through property visits, installation of water-saving devices, minor leak repairs, and customer education. The role also involves local area engagement and appointment generation within non-household properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical hands‑on experience who enjoys working independently, engaging with customers, and contributing to environmental sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Visiting non-household properties to carry out water efficiency surveys
• Installing light-touch water‑saving devices
• Identifying and resolving minor leaks where appropriate
• Providing customers with tailored water‑saving advice and behavioural guidance
• Recording findings and updates accurately using a CRM system
• Supporting appointment generation and local customer engagement activity
• Managing van stock and ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Working closely with supervisors and the wider delivery team to achieve programme targets

• Practical experience in plumbing, maintenance, property services, or other hands‑on roles
• Confidence communicating with customers face to face
• A proactive and organised approach to work
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic IT skills and confidence using mobile devices or CRM systems

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Access to a vehicle with business use insurance
• Ability to pass a DBS check

• Door-to-door engagement or canvassing experience
• Previous experience within water efficiency, plumbing, utilities, or property maintenance
• Basic Health & Safety or manual handling training

• Mileage allowance
