The RoleWe are excited to announce an opportunity to join our dedicated team at the Central Library/Museum as a cleaning operative, working Saturday and Sunday. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. We pride ourselves on creating a clean and welcoming environment for our visitors, employees and members of the public.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected to perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitizing surfaces, ensure all areas are kept clean, organized and well maintained whilst following established cleaning schedules and procedures. You will be confident in reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
About YouPrevious experience in a cleaning role would be preferred but not essential. You will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrate excellent time‑management skills and have the ability to follow clear instructions. Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks.
