Working Hours: Monday to Friday (rotating shifts):
- 7:00am – 3:00pm
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
- 10:00am – 6:00pm

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced, dependable, and proactive School Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a busy school site in Bolton.
Leading a team of two Site Supervisors, you will be responsible for ensuring the school buildings and grounds are safe, compliant, well maintained, and fully operational. Alongside the operational management of the site, you will take ownership of statutory compliance, maintaining accurate records and managing compliance documentation through the school’s electronic compliance management system.
A key part of this role is the administration and monitoring of compliance using the iAM Compliant system. Previous experience with iAM Compliant would be highly desirable, although full training can be provided to candidates with strong compliance and facilities management experience.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a School Facilities Manager or in a similar facilities/site management role within an educational setting.
- Experience managing site compliance, statutory inspections, and health and safety records.
- Excellent IT skills and confidence using computer-based management systems. You must be comfortable maintaining digital compliance records, generating reports, and working with online systems.
- Experience using iAM Compliant is desirable but not essential.
- Good practical maintenance skills with the ability to carry out a range of minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- A sound understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice.
- The ability to prioritise workloads, work independently, and manage a small team effectively.
- A reliable, organised, and proactive approach to work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Availability to start as soon as possible.
