PSV Engineer

Salary:
Up to £25 per hour + Overtime

Hours:

40 hours per week - daytime shifts, with flexibility

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced PCV Engineer to join a busy Engineering Department and play a vital role in keeping a modern commercial vehicle fleet safe, reliable and operational.

You’ll be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of PCV and HGV vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with current safety and regulatory requirements.

• Carry out scheduled 6-weekly inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Complete servicing, repairs and maintenance to PCV vehicles
• Identify faults efficiently and carry out effective repairs to minimise vehicle downtime
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and annual testing
• Ensure all vehicles meet required safety and regulatory standards
• Complete maintenance records, inspection sheets and other relevant documentation accurately
