School Business Manager

School Business Manager – Bolton – £35k - £40k Full time ( or term time + 2 weeks )

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced School Business Manager to support this local school and office. Potential permanent opportunity available.

Key duties will include:

* Ensuring day to day functions of the school office run smoothly

* Assisting the Head Teacher in the implementation of school policies and procedures

* Processing invoices & assisting with month end finance procedures

* Supporting budget preparation and monitoring budget throughout the year

* Liaising with suppliers and contractors, ordering supplies and booking contract work

* Line managing support staff

* Supporting with HR duties - including recruitment, appraisals and onboarding new starters

* Supervising the maintenance of the school site and arranging health and safety training for staff

* Acting as the school Data Protection Officer

* Skills required:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Confident in using Microsoft Packages

* Previous experience as a School Business Manager is essential

* You will have an enhanced DBS
