The Role
We are recruiting Team Managers in three of our teams.
Bolton is a fantastic place to work, and our employees thrive working here. We are incredibly proud of our Bolton Family, of which you will become an integral part.
We are keen to support you to progress in your social work journey with training and development opportunities.
Join Bolton Children’s Services and be part of a team where your expertise is valued and your decisions make a difference every day.
Assessment Team
We have a permanent position and a fixed term contract for 12 months- available due to service and expansion and staff progression.
Our Assessment Service is part of Bolton Council’s Front Door and takes referrals and assessments from the Integrated Front Door. The assessments are completed in relation to children who are at risk of significant harm and in need of support to ensure their welfare and protection. The teams are responsible for Section 47 enquiries, social care assessments, Initial Child Protection Conferences, issuing Care Proceedings and initiating the Public Law Outline.
Integrated Front Door
This role is a fixed term contract for 12 months and sits within our Integrated Front Door Team, which in other Local Authorities is referred to as the MASH. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and the skills of others within our team.
This is a none case holding, office‑based role whereby you will be working collaboratively with all partner agencies within the Integrated Front Door including the Police, Health, Missing from Home Coordinator, Independent Domestic Violence Advocates and Children with Disabilities Duty.
Whilst the role is none case holding, you will still be afforded the opportunity to have daily interactions with partner agencies outside of the Integrated Front Door and with families and members of the public.
Safeguarding
The Safeguarding Social Work teams work directly with children in need of help and protection and those children subject to care proceedings and adoption plans and has permanent management positions available.
If you would like to know more we would love to hear from you!
