Senior Manufacturing Programme Manager
As a Senior Manufacturing Programme Manager, you will have the chance to spearhead some of our most complex and impactful projects, shaping the future of our manufacturing capabilities and strengthening the organisation.
SalaryCirca £70,000 depending on experience.
Dynamic (hybrid) working3 days per week on-site due to workload classification.
Security ClearanceBritish Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. After offer, all successful candidates must undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to develop and implement innovative solutions, drive continuous improvement, and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders. Working closely with senior leadership to define and deliver our manufacturing roadmap, ensuring we meet operational and strategic goals.
Role Purpose- Deputise for the VP Manufacturing Series Programmes at cross project reviews (UK BL, Coop BL)
- Demand management for Customer Support activities across all programmes and operations
- Management of transversal risks and opportunities
- Ensuring all common stock, including stock with no demand, is managed and cost exposure minimised
- Working with VP to define the future roadmap for Manufacturing Series Programmes
- Management of specific series programmes processes and continuous improvement
- Embedding MBDA leadership and management behaviours throughout the department
- Contributing to building highly effective teams through coaching, workshops and individual interventions
- Delivery of special projects and continuous improvement tasks that continue to progress the department and support the overall manufacturing and MBDA strategy
- Leadership, influencing and relationship management skills required to establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Ability to manage a high degree of uncertainty and conflicting priorities.
- Experienced Programme Manager competent to lead engineering, operations and project professionals through a matrix organisation.
- Energy, drive, and commitment.
- High degree of self‑motivation and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Accomplished people manager in a leadership role, skilled at leading internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills and an open, confident, clear leadership style.
