Position SummaryWarehouse Team Member – Team Leader. Lead the warehouse team to achieve daily targets and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and lead the warehouse team.
- Conduct weekly cascade and monthly review meetings on a rotational basis.
- Resolve issues promptly by coordinating with team members, line team leaders, WTM’s, and supervisors.
- Monitor line requirements and act quickly to address any gaps.
- Drive health & safety practices: perform risk assessments, daily safety checks, and ensure compliance; manage environmental controls and uphold 5S standards.
- Monitor and record stock accuracy, escalating critical issues to Production Planning/Procurement; report key safety issues to the next shift.
- Identify and solve problems rapidly, conducting initial investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Mentor, coach, and develop WTM’s, providing regular feedback; identify training needs and coordinate relevant training and competency checks.
- Motivate and support WTM performance, encouraging achievement of departmental, team, and skill block targets.
- Audit standard operations, supporting the development and update of documentation such as work instructions, QCS, and 5S.
- Carry out normal WTM tasks as required.
- Experience in fast‑moving goods warehouse environments with team engagement and performance management.
- Strong understanding of KPI‑oriented business operations.
- Team leadership with product and industry knowledge, strong oral and written communication, motivational ability, results orientation, employee training, interviewing, self‑motivation, relationship building, and conduct of difficult discussions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 software and programs.
- Active participation in continuous improvement activities.
- Risk assessment training; VNA & counterbalance licences.
