JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced MIG Welders to join a busy fabrication environment. This is a great opportunity for skilled welders looking for long-term, stable work.
Shift Pattern (38 hours per week)Monday to Thursday: 6:30am - 4:30pm
Duties include Welding and Fabrication- Producing chassis and metal components to engineering drawings
- Carrying out MIG welding to a high standard
- Ensuring all welds meet quality specifications
- Positioning and securing components using jigs and fixtures
- Checking alignment and dimensions against drawings
- Supporting general fabrication tasks as required
- Inspecting welds and finished parts for defects
- Reporting faults or issues with equipment or materials
- Ensuring all work meets required standards
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Wearing appropriate PPE
- Previous MIG welding experience is essential
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable with a good work ethic
£14.53 per hour
