Overview

A fantastic opportunity to join our fast‑paced but friendly and inclusive Manufacturing environment.

Salary: £42,558.

Working model:
Dynamic (hybrid) with 5 days per week on site due to workload classification.

Security clearance:
British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply.

All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide operations support to ensure programme targets are met to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
  • Ensure completed hardware builds are manufactured in accordance with drawing requirements and specifications.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in line with 5S policies.
  • Ensure assembly unit production costs are met and deliver within time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Maintain workmanship standards and product quality to the highest level.
  • Complete all manufacturing documentation.
  • Work closely with Operators, Engineering and Quality to overcome technical challenges and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with a large, multi‑disciplined team in a fast‑paced and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing apprenticeship, Advanced Level or Level 3 Standard.
  • Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, diploma, etc.).
  • Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ), unless you have achieved a Level 3 apprenticeship standard.
  • Experience in reading and understanding assembly drawings and planning instructions.
  • Fully conversant with manufacturing equipment, tools and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work independently with initiative, without close supervision.
  • Willingness to go ‘the extra mile’ to deliver work to a high standard.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing demands.
