Monday - Friday double days shift (Week 1: 6am-2pm, Week 2: 2pm-10pm)
Overview - Maintenance EngineerA leading manufacturer is looking to hire a maintenance engineer and is ready to onboard immediately. As a maintenance engineer, you will be joining a structured department where you will ensure the factory is running up to speed and production levels are maintained.
With recent investment on site, this is a good opportunity for someone to join a growing site where the role will be varies across maintenance, reliability, improvements and project work.
Working a Monday - Friday shift, this will allow you to keep your weekends free.
Responsibilities- Proactive maintenance and site PMs
- Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
- Working across both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance
- Working on engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
- Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes and machine output
- Adhering to site Health & Safety rules and legislation on site
- Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
- Experience working in a Multi-skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering
- Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.
