Associate Minister

St Peter’s is a flourishing parish of around five hundred people across four church families with a passion to see everyone fulfil their God-given potential as disciples of Jesus Christ. We are looking for someone with a heart for God and a love of people, who is Spirit‑led, immersed in prayer and rooted in the Bible.

• serve servant leaders as part of a church family where everyone is called to serve.
• develop our network of small groups so that everyone can learn and grow in faith together as disciples of Jesus.
• lead our prayer ministry so that it becomes a movement that underpins all that we do and are.
• serve in our pastoral ministries so that everyone is cared for and loved.
• advance our mission to transform our town in Jesus’ name, working with a wide range of partners to build God’s kingdom in Bolton.

• experience leading ministries, discipleship groups and operational teams, ideally in a larger church context.
• experience managing staff and/or volunteers, including recruitment, team‑building, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
• biblical preaching and teaching for both small and large groups across a range of ages and stages of faith.
• history of leading successful missional activities that have seen measurable growth.

The successful candidate will receive a warm welcome and ongoing support from the Vicar and a large group of lay leaders across four congregations committed to collaborative ministry and excited about all that God has in store for the parish.
