B1 Ward is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Ward Manager with strong leadership skills and a clear passion for quality and patient safety. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic nurse who is committed to delivering high standards of care and supporting the development of the ward team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for complex care, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will play a key role in supporting the Ward Manager, leading by example, and contributing to a positive, safe, and effective ward environment.

This role is ideal for an individual who is driven, patient-focused, and committed to continuous improvement in care delivery.

B1 Ward provides high‑quality medical care for complex patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. We are looking to recruit a motivated, hardworking Deputy Ward Manager with strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for complex care and patient safety.

Applicants should have a sound knowledge of general medicine, experience in caring for patients with complex and multi‑morbid needs, and be able to demonstrate excellent discharge planning skills to support safe and effective transitions of care.

We are seeking a dynamic leader who is enthusiastic, committed, and driven to continuously improve patient care. When working clinically, you will be expected to deliver high‑quality, compassionate, and evidence‑based care, while providing support and reassurance to patients, relatives, and members of the multidisciplinary team.

As Deputy Ward Manager, you will:

• Promote and lead the delivery of excellent patient‑centred care in a supportive and inclusive environment
• Support the Ward Manager in maintaining high standards of care, quality, and safety
• Act as a role model for professional practice and leadership
• Encourage staff development and foster a positive learning culture

The candidate must be willing to work 4 days a week to cover the service.
