Location: Salford, Chapel St Vimto Gardens, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £37,440 - £41,600 per annum plus great benefits
We’re looking for a skilled Store Manager to join our retail team. This full‑time role comes with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
As a Store Manager you will:
- Guide the commercial and community strategies in your store, helping to deliver the store’s purpose.
- Lead and support your team, showing them how to create a fantastic shopping experience for customers and members.
- Empower your team to deliver great service, personally promoting the Co‑op difference.
- Build an inclusive culture where everyone can speak up and share their views.
- Develop your team through regular performance conversations to help them reach their potential.
- Ensure the store is safe, legal and operational.
- Manage and optimise the store’s commercial performance, recruit new team members and oversee HR processes.
We expect you to have:
- Experience of guiding and developing a team in a busy, service‑focused environment.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and inspire.
- Resilience and strong problem‑solving skills.
- The ability to understand and analyse commercial information.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and support the team with store activities.
