Business Development Manager (Industrial Paints / Coatings) – Bolton, North West Patch
Salary £45,000 - £50,000 (OTE £60k) + Uncapped Commission + Car/Car Allowance + Company Bonus + Training + Progression.
We are looking for an experienced BDM/Sales Manager with an industrial paints or coatings background to drive new business and manage accounts across a North West patch (Derby to Newcastle). The role is 70% new business and 30% account management.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new business.
- Manage existing accounts and drive upsell opportunities.
- Travel to customer sites 3–4 days a week.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
- Work autonomously within the North West region.
- Background in industrial paints or coatings.
- Proven sales experience, preferably as BDM or Sales Manager.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, defence, aerospace, automotive, or industrial markets.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to travel within the North West region.
