Installation Technician

Installation Technician Warehouse Automation £45,000 salary 28 days annual leave | Heavy travel across Germany & EMEA Were partnering with a global warehouse automation business to recruit an Installation Technician for a highly mobile, field-based role supporting projects across Germany and wider EMEA. This position involves significant international and national travel, so its ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road and working on large-scale automation installations at customer sites.

The role Install, assemble, and wire warehouse automation systems on-site Commission systems and carry out functional and safety testing Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards Complete installation reports, QA records, and documentation Provide on-site updates and basic operator training to customers Travel requirement Frequent travel across Germany (primary focus) Regular international travel across EMEA Occasional short-notice or urgent site visits Flexible working hours during peak installation phases What were looking for Experience in industrial automation, installation, or commissioning Mechanical and/or electrical background Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills Strong communication and customer-facing ability Comfortable working at height (MEWPs / forklifts) Happy with extensive travel and working away from home Whats on offer £45,000 salary 28 days annual leave Exposure to international automation projects Long-term career progression within a growing organisation If this looks like a role you would be keen on then please apply .
