We have an exciting new opportunity for an EDT AMHP within Adults EDT in Bolton, UK, offering an attractive rate of £40 hourly for a full-time position over a period of 2 months. Based at Bradley Fold Road, you will work 37 hours per week on a rolling 3-week rota, with one weekend off in every three. This role starts on 27th July 2026 and ends on 30th September 2026.

What you will do:
  • Respond to emergency social service needs as part of the EDT team.
  • Undertake Mental Health Act assessments.
  • Liaise with other professionals in multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective care plans.
  • Work within legislative and procedural framework to provide high-quality service.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.

Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant frontline experience working as a qualified Social Worker within UK Social Services.
  • AMHP qualification and current AMHP warrant.
  • Availability to work on a rota basis, further details discussed at interview.
