Grade J scp 35: £22,447 to scp 39: £24,455 with essential car user allowance up to £963 per annum.

Contract and Work Hours

Permanent. 18 hours per week, 2.5 days.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional fostering panel advisor with strong background in fostering, passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children and foster families.

The successful candidate will provide high‑quality advice on fostering regulations, policy and practice, ensuring all panel business is conducted in line with statutory requirements and practice standards.

They will prepare clear panel documentation, guide panel members and contribute to quality assurance processes, working closely with social work staff, panel members and senior leaders to promote safe, child‑focused decision‑making.

We retain our overall GOOD grading from Ofsted for our ILACS. We aim to give children and young people the best possible start in life.

About You

We are seeking an experienced and professional fostering panel advisor.

Requirements: experienced competent social worker, registered with Social Work England, professional social work qualification, enhanced DBS, full driving licence, ability to communicate and organise, collaborative approach, confident, supportive decision‑making.
